Start with the group: where everyone is, what is nearby, and where you could meet. The shared map gives the plan somewhere to begin.

Overview
333 starts with the message every group chat eventually sends: where should we meet? Friends share a map, and the app suggests three places that work for the group. At 3:33, a daily suggestion gives everyone a reason to make a plan. I'm building it with The Friendship Company, starting in New York City.
The Challenge
The middle of a map isn't necessarily a fair place to meet. Travel time, how each person gets around, and whether a place fits the plan matter more than a geographic midpoint. A shared map also needs a clear limit on how long it keeps people's location.
My Approach
The SwiftUI app connects to a Cloudflare Worker, with a Durable Object coordinating each group. Place ranking puts travel fairness first, then considers preferences and context. Location presence is temporary, and precise coordinates stay out of the persistent D1 database.
The Solution
The app narrows the decision to three candidates and turns the chosen spot into a shared plan. The aim is to spend less time negotiating in chat and more time sitting across from each other.
