Description
This red TSMC sign is on one of the company's chip factories in the Central Taiwan Science Park in Taichung. TSMC makes chips to the designs of other companies, such as Nvidia in Santa Clara.
Importance
TSMC made the H100, which is also in this room, with its 4N process for Nvidia. In May 2020, TSMC announced a factory in Arizona with a cost of approximately $12 billion. In October 2025, Jensen Huang signed the first Nvidia Blackwell wafer from that factory.
Interesting fact
At the Arizona ceremony, the head of TSMC Arizona said that the company had three decades of partnership with Nvidia.
